• The initiative must benefit a geographical community where there are student and non-student residents within Swansea
• The proposal must be submitted by a lead organisation that is constituted
• The proposal must evidence the involvement of students
Applications should be made by completing the Community Grant Application Form
The completed application form must be e-mailed to firstname.lastname@example.org
We regret that we are unable to respond to funding requests which are not submitted via the application form or applications that are incomplete.
Applications that do not meet our eligibility criteria cannot be considered for an award.
Once we have received your application (together with any supporting documentation) it will be assessed against the eligibility criteria.
You will receive confirmation that the application has been received within 3 working days of it being sent.
You will be notified of the outcome of your application via email.
We have a fixed amount of funding to allocate, therefore the number of applications we are able to fund is limited.
The decision of the board is final.
The board may request a visit to the applying organisation as part of their decision making process. This will be planned at a mutually convenient time.
Please note that if your application is successful, you will be required to confirm receipt of your grant.
Applications are accepted on the understanding that, if successful, organisations agree to publicity in any materials that Swansea University produces.
A short write up of the benefits received from the funding and some pictures will be requested as part of a successful bid.
